Google Doing Push Mail for iPhone?

    Hey

    Any idea if goggle are going to do Push email , Calender , Contacts for the iPhone and iPhone 3G?

    Sorry if this has already been asked.

    IMAP itself is not exactly push email. It only synchronizes server and the current device. Other devices need to send request to get those changes. Push means server would send changes to all devices without request.

    Speaking of push, it's not working for me with 2.0 and trial MobileMe account. It pushes mail, calendars and contacts to server and syncs it with my macs, but not vice-versa.

    Oh ok. Well I just saw that 2.0 has IMAP support built in for gmail now. That's enough for me.

    You could also use funambol
