Why? Why him? What did HE do to deserve to die?
Sorry for my language but..f*** cancer.
Jeeze, knew he was sick, obviously... but he's still relatively young. Thought he would still be around to give flash some sh*t, and sport those blue jeans at keynotes. Even with advance preparation, I think Apple is going to have a hard time rebounding from this -- we all remember the last time Jobs left the company.
Best wishes to Steve's family. His brilliance will be sorely missed by this planet. We have lost a revolutionary icon of this generation.
He held on for the iPhone 4S keynote. I can't believe it. Please rest in peace.
Oh my. I first saw the news on a trolling account on facebook and I was thinking it was just a joke. Then I visited the Apple website. RIP Steve
such an inspiration. he stuck with his company to the very end. this is incredibly unfortunate.
rest in peace, steve. 56 years old.
A truly sad day for not only Apple, but the world. They put it pretty well on their homepage. In all seriousness, he probably didn't day today. My guess is that he has been dead for a few days, but it was not announced until after the keynote.
Never forget. October 5th, 2011.
Now I understand why the Apple staff in the iPhone 4s unveiling felt so sad to me... They were coping with Steve's condition... They knew he was dying...
