you can do more than just listening to music. Sure, you may not think much of the apps in the appstore are useful, but the jailbreaking community has contributed many great apps such as backgrounder, pockettouch, memtool, etc. Bluetooth is slowly developing for more features. Progress is being made that makes jailbreaking more useful than some useless classic.

ya i know ive had my ipod touch jailbroken since it first came out for the first ipod touch to my 2nd gen ipod touch it was fun at first but just i find myself not using any of the apps anymore in the appstore or cydia i dont even use my ipod to watch videos either i just use it to listin to music
at least this way with my classic its a 120GB witch is alot better for me since i have TONS of music and i can never keep all my songs on my ipod touch cause its only a 16 GB and not even a 32GB will help and even if the 3rd gen comes out supposedly gonna be a 62GB or something like that that wont even help me as well but oh well it was fun while it lasted
