not sure how hard it would be to make this, but wouldnt it be a good idea if a developer created an app that can turn off audio coming out of your left/right earphone?
like you had the option to keep both playing, or turn off one or the other?

you would think it would save ALOT on the battery.. music playing-wise.

plus it would be perfect for those times that your doing an activity where you want to listen to music but want to hear whats going on around you, only using one ear bud.

i think its a smart idea.
tell me what you guys think

wel it would cut it in half of how much battery it takes to play it through headphones.

    but yeah.

you mean change the stereo headphones to mono headphones so you can hear the whole song in one hear?

well it wouldnt really save battery cause it takes like barely any power to power headphones. like you could make a windable flash light power it. BTW I destroyed my windable flashlight and i hooked it up to my ipod but i couldnt generate enough power to charge it.

i think i could only produce like 5 volts.

no because it would just put all the sounds going to one head phone. that will make it lose more. That could cause serious damage to the headphone
