    Hey,
My white ipod earphones are going a bit faulty - one earphone doesn't work sometimes so i was wondering on getting a new pair - any suggestions?
(can't be too expensive, probably 30-60)

It might not be the earbuds. My iPod has a loose headphone jack- I have to wiggle it for the sound to come out of both ears. Check with a friend's earbuds first.

I got griffin inear tunebuds with a mic for $25 on amazon. They retail for $40, but they sell them cheaper on amazon.

They are really good, I love them.

My brother has skullcandy inears and those are pretty good too.

Kay Thanks. I might try the skullcandy earbuds - they seem pretty decent.

How are we even going to advise headphones if we don't know what you prefer? What do you like? Strong bass? Clear mids? Etc... If we don't know what your music style is, then we can't just advise you anything.
Also Skullcandy suck. If you want good quality, always go for good, trustworthy brands like Sennheiser, Etymotic, Shure etc...

Edit: After doing some research: The two ones I would recommend for balanced listening are...
    The Koss KSC35
    Sennheiser PX100
