    I have a Dell Vostro A860.

I was wondering which one of these is the best and worst for my laptop.

    1. Keeping it on charge all day.

    2. Only unplugging it when it's charged fully (then plug it back in when battery low)

    3. When plugged in, take out the battery completely and only use the battery when power source isn't available.

    Thank you guys.

I'd do number 2 because if you do number 3, then if you accidentally pull the plug out, it'll turn off obviously which is inconvenient. Also, it is inconvenient because it takes time to take the battery out, if you want to go somewhere really quick, then you have to take time to put the battery in.

1 will cut down the battery life of it.

Yeah, but I think number 3 sounds like the most durable one. No one really plays around my laptop but me, and I am extra carefull with my stuff, so the plug (i don't think so) will get pulled out accidentally.

    Yeah that's what I thought.

Yea, 3 seems like the best for your battery, but batteries are meant to be charged and used. Some laptops don't even allow you to take the battery out.
