    Hey iPod touch fans!

    Quick question.

Today I sold my iPod 2G 8gig for $120 and I'm going to use money from my birthday next week for the rest of the $110. Then I'm going to buy an iPod 4G 8gig.

    Is this a good deal?

Also, is 8 gigs enough room for a LOT of apps, videos, and jailbroken stuff when it comes out, and less than 300 songs?

NO! 8GB won't we enough because you will only have about 6GB at first because the OS takes up a lot of space. And HD recording with your camera uses A LOT of space too. I would suggest getting the 16GB or 32GB.

Ah, I dont really worry about the video. After I record about a gig of video, I will put it on my computer and off my ipod. I have no worries about that. Considering that, is it fine?

If you used an 8GB before and were OK with it, then it shouldn't be a problem now.

    It is a good deal.

If you are worried about room, ask yourself if you had problems with free space on your 2G. If you didn't, you'll be fine, otherwise, upgrade to 32GB (8GB wasn't enough for me, so I upgraded).

I would personally go for the 32gb just to be safe. But that's up to you.

    Guyyyyyyyyyyyys.
    It'll be a whole 'nother 70 bucks!

The room was fine on my old one, but I mean... it would be cool to have movies and stuff on it.

OK you guys have 4 hours to convince me. GO!

    -EDIT-
Like what exactly are the perks of getting 32 gigs?
    I just thought of something...

    8gig iPod = $230
    32 gig iPod = $300

    8gigs x 4gigs = 32 gigs.

    4 8gig ipods = $920 | Total Room: 32 gigs
    1 32gig ipod = $300 | Total Room: 32 gigs

    Thats a $620 dollar steal!

    Maybe I should get 32gig...

I agree completely. Go for the 32gb or you'll wish you had later on!
