I have no idea what's up with this, but it's bugging me so badly I'm considering going back to 3.1.3 until 4.1 with respective jailbreak is out.

Sometimes when I play godfinger, the game just slows down and crashes. Starts off with lower framerate, lower and lower. At the end of it, it goes one frame per ten seconds.
If I'm lucky, the screen will turn black and it'll crash to springboard.

Though most of the time, it just freezes and I have no other option than doing a hard reset on my iPod.

Is this my iPod's fault or the game?

    Sounds like an iPod problem.

I don't think its your ipod, Godfinger regularly crashes/freezes up with me too, although not as bad as yours is. If it was any other app, it would have been deleted long ago, but godfinger is awesome excluding the buggy-ness.

And you both have 2G iPods. Coincidence or not?

the problem could be a lack of memory.
i have the same device (same firmware) and i had the same problems until i did a virtual memory mod. It helped alot and stopped the constant crashes. you can also try removing launch daemons to get some extra ram.
@dingos123 you can talk about piracy in this forum. even if the app is completely free

Hurr, can somebody please delete the irrelevant posts?

I have deleted launch deamons and turned off spotlight search. I got nothing running in background cause I killed everything using SBsettings before launching GodFinger.

Screw iOS 4! I'm going back to my good ol' 3.1.3. At least until 4.1 with corresponding jailbreak is out ^^

    Thanks anyway
