I am a 16-year-old bedroom coder, and i consider myself a fairly competent coder.
But I haven't got a mac, and what's more, even if I did, i can't program for iTouch and iPhone because i'm not 18 yet!!!!
The iPhone SDK is a really cool piece of kit, and I don't want to have to miss out on making my own apps just because I'm young.
    Any ideas?

    Heres your plan:

    • Buy a Macbook

    • Make sure you can code

    • Register for an iPhone Dev saying your 18, for $99. Dont worry they're not going to come to your house...

    • Then Develop.

    • When your finally 18 if you can change your b-day and stuff on the dev account, then change it to your real one.

    OR

    • Buy a Macbook.

    • Make sure you can code.

    • Register for an iPhone Dev under your parents name, pay the $99.

    • Develop.

    • When your 18 change the name, age and stufff to YOURS.

    Okay, here's my plan:

    1) Get OS X Emulator (and keep quiet - my dad would kill me!).
    2) Get dev account and say i'm 18.
    3) Pay the £59 (thats what it is in the UK).
    4) Get the SDK.
    5) Develop stunning apps (and charge for them).
    6) Once the paychecks arrive, buy a real macbook (and repeat steps 4 & 5).

Does apple even have a UK Headquarters?

opinions on the plan are welcome.

Fraud is a crime for which you can and should be jailed.

The only way around it is to have one of your parents register as the dev. Under the NDA they can give access to the dev account to their children:
