How do you gift apps? I thought this feature was added but I don't see it anywhere.

App Store -> App Description -> Gift This App (Below Reviews)

    Haven't tried it yet myself.

Really? It's only on paid apps, next to tell a friend. Where report a problem is on free apps. You absolutely certain it isn't there?

I'm trying it with a free app though, on the paid apps it shows up.
Of course I suppose it makes sense that I can't gift a free app, as the recipient could just download it themselves, but I figured that maybe it worked something like just sending it to them...hmm oh well.

Does this mean you can't report problems with paid apps? lol

You can always "Tell a friend" about the app.

You can still report problems with paid apps. It's on the bottom as well.

    With free apps?

And yeah I guess telling a friend about an app would serve my purposes. Thanks

    its in itunes

    open itunes 9.2 (4.0 requires itunes 9.2)
on right side of app store in itunes there is a link to Gift

gifting is not in the app itself

    it's in Itunes 9.2

what happens is it sends the app to your friend's itunes account to be uploaded automatically to their device.

I gifted 3 apps to my brother today and it worked perfectly.

just open itunes click the Gift link in the app store and have fun.
