    so you know whats weird?

when my music deletes itself mysteriously.
it just wanst there one day

i had to re sync it all which was kinda a pain, but no biggie.

weird thing is, the first few times before it disappeared, it said it couldnt load dataclass info from sync services.

    weird huh?

yeah, it happened to me allll the time on 2.0.2 when i synced a lot of apps.
it made my appstore apps stop working too

    i thought 2.1 fixed it.
which it kinda did, cuz my apps still worked when my music went away.

Could be. I never have been un-jailbroken. I jailbroke my 1.1.4 minutes after it was out of the box.

My first ipod touch has been jailbroken since I first got it almost a year ago and every ipod/iphone i have now has been jailbroken since they left there box and I have never had this or 99% of the problems people have with jailbreaking.

Why would jailbreaking cause this? Jailbreaking and none of the applications on cydia or installer modify or even come close to the directories your music is stored in. Maybe its the user as is most jailbreaking problems.

    just a thought.

On topic. I read on a couple of other sites if you sync to much at one time things may get a little screwy. lost music applications not working ext. Jailbroken or not. Try syncing your music first then your apps or half your music then the rest. That should help.

Yeah, next to all other problems iPods can have, this one is definitely the easiest to fix.

well on 2.0.2, resyncing didnt do anything!

i had to put the apps on 2 or 3 at a time, or the music would go away.
