    Hey bros...
I really need to copy the music I have in my ipod touch to my computer...
And I cant find any program that would let me get ALL my music out.... Im also searching for it to be FREE, and not paid.... ( Free-software ideology ).
Do some one knows a program that would do that for me!? It can be for MAC or for PC doesn't matter....

Doesn't the iPod rename each mp3 to some random string? Hopefully someone will develop an application like the ones for previous iPods that can rip mp3s from it and rename them according to their ID3 tag.

Preferably one that doesn't need iTunes installed, so I can use it while at Uni.

yes it does but the ID3-Tags are kept in the the file....
there are programs, which rename the file according to the tags:
for example each filename will be exchanged to <artist> - <titel>....
