    Hi all,
I'd like to get some images off a friend's ipod touch to use at the wake. I've got some of my mate's favourite songs off but can't find a way to get the images off. Is there a way to do this? iTouch is not jailbroken. I don't want to modify it in any way, just copy a couple of nice photos from the small photo library.
I need to do this tonight if possible.
Thanks for any help you can offer.

But then it will put my photos onto it. I don't want to do that. I want to get a couple of photos off the ipod touch without changing anything on it.

No, you have to create a folder (blank) and tick that folder in the list of manual sync places. All the photos from the touch will be on that folder, so pick what you want and be done, but no way to do a few photos.

Download DiskAide and connect your iPod. Even if its not jailbroken, you can access the Media folder and take off photos.

I have it set to manually manage, but photos don't show up in ipod touch contents drop down list on side for me to drag and drop. When I try looking in the photo tab of itunes ipod preferences it is all greyed out. If I select syc from (in order to try and change settings) it warns me I'll replace all photos on the touch with my iphoto library. I don't want to mess this up.

This kind of works, but I can't find the photos there, only some kind of ipod thumbnail files. Where are the real images stored? Only folders on this ipod touch appear to be DCIM (sounds like a file for photos but looks empty), downloads, photos (has a database file and thumbs folder), and itunes control. That's it!
