Is there a new and free way to add your hotmail account to the mail app? Not with izymail.

Don't think so. But izymail is dirt cheap and works good. Less than $20 for a year.

buy a premium hotmail account, costs about the same as izymail and it works properly through Mail.app

Why are people looking for alternatives to get it working? I did it the normal way and it works fine. Didn't have to create a premium account or anything.

I just noticed how old this thread was....

I thought you just enter in the regular Hotmail POP3 details, and it will give you the warning, and you just exit out of it.

It still works as far as I'm concerned...
