    Hey,

In the coming months I'm planning on getting an iPhone 3GS. I already have an iPod Touch 2G but I think it's time to finally upgrade

    1.
Firstly, when a contract says it supplies unlimited 'Data/WiFi', does that mean I can access the internet for free through 3G ANYWHERE? Or does that mean I have the usage of the WiFi hotspots?

    2.
Also, if I wanted to access the internet through WiFi at my home, rather than through 3G, would I have to turn off the 3G option?

    3.
I have heard that some US carriers do not allow tethering and MMS support. I am in the UK, and would be using the o2 network so would I be allowed these features?

    4.
Finally, which colour is better - black, or white?

    Thanks

I don't have an iPhone, but I think I can answer some...

    1) It means you can surf the internet anywhere, yes, where you can get signal, for free.

    Unlimited browsing.

    2) Yes.

    3) Dunno.

    4) Black. I heard white gets brown after overheating or something.

    1. You can get Internet in your country, I think.

    2. You don't have to, bu it will save some battery juice.

    3. You can tether and use MMS not in the USA. (You're fine)

    4. I say black.

Does anyone use BiteSMS? If so, is it a worthy purchase? Replying within an app rather than quitting to the SMS app is a really big incentive for me to buy it!

Thanks for that. Do the cases scratch easily? Hopefully not as much as the Touch's anyway!

    1. 3G kind of works like phone signal, so unfortunately, there are some deadzones =[
    4. I chose black for mine. Overheating supposedly colorchanges the white on some early models, and i just think the black is pretty nifty =]
