I was thinking of getting a rebel touch case for my ipod touch 2g. i was also thinking of getting a mirror reflect screen protector to go with it. so my question is, are the edges from the mirror screen going to get messed up because of the rebel touch case. the screen covers the whole front but i was worried about the case because the sides go over so im not sure if it will push the screen protector and mess it up or if it'll just go on top of the screen and not mess up the screen protector ?

    thx for your help

You should be able to apply both, I'm pretty sure the Rebel comes with a screen protector so the case should be compatible with any screen protector unless it's really fatty.

I got a RebelTouch and also used one of the included screen protectors and I am not really satisfied. I put the protector on the screen perfectly, but after I attached the case the overlapping edges push on the screen protector leading to some smaller bubbles (2-3mm) at the edges of the screen. Since these bubbles do not extend onto the LCD area it is not that bad, but still looks kinda crappy. I guess the same could happen with other screen protectors, too.

YEAH! The protector sucks. Case pushes it off loads.

Yeah but you have to admit the mirror shield is pretty cool.

Eh, mine was pretty cheap and it wasn't great, but i still liked it. I want one from SwitchEasy. It will probably be 20x better than the one i got.

but since its a mirror finish and you cant see through it unless light is shining through from the other side, the small bubbles would be un-noticable.

You bumped a pretty old thread, dude.

But he's right. It won't show unless you're really looking.
