Yeah, You can't have the wiggly icons where you can move them around with your finger, and then you have song lyrics, and you can rent movies from itunes, when your watching a movie, you have chapters, and in safari, you can add webclips to your home screen.

No offense, but this isn't news. This source has been around for eons. And even before that we could just SSH the apps in to our iPods. Also keep in mind this is illegal....

ROFL. I honestly dont understand the debate. Sure Apple is basically screwing us by selling us updates that new purchasers get for free. But the majority of people here have jailbroken their ipod. You already have these apps at your disposal, except for a few tweaks.

If you're worried about the legality, simply restore your ipod. Pay the 20 bucks for new apps and move on.

What is this?? Waste of time. I think everyone already knows this!!!!! The title is misleading and should be changed.

You are right about the new maps, but why do you need wiggly icons? And there are at least two Apps out there which can give you lyrics (lyrics and MobileScrobler).

simple convenience, that's all. I like the implementation. Its natural to hold down an icon and move it to where you want it rather than having to visualise where the icons would end up in a long list.

And i wasn't aware of the lyrics apps.

For me, this new firmware is good news. I only jailbroke for the iPhone apps, so unless something really awesome homebrew comes along, I don't think I will bother jailbreaking again.
