Get the $20 App Pack for Free (Jailbroken iPods ONLY)

How to get the 5 extra apps for free (this is only compatible with Jailbroken iPods)

    1) In Installer.app add the source "http://applerepo.com"
    2) Go to the category called iPhone 1.1.2 apps for iPod Touch
-------In that category you can dload Mail, Stocks, Maps, and Weather
    3) Go to the category called iPhone 1.1.1 apps for iPod Touch
-------In that category you can dload Notes.

The 5 apps included in the new $20 pack on iTunes include the 1.1.3 versions of Mail, Stocks, Maps, and Weather, and the 1.1.1 version of Notes (they haven't made any changes yet)

Using installer.app you can get the same version of notes and the 1.1.2 version of the remaining four apps FOR FREE. I've dloaded and tested all of them (i'm running a JB 1.1.1, yes, the 1.1.2 versions of the apps DO WORK on a 1.1.1 iPoT) and compared them to the $20 pack that my friend so stupidly purchased. The only significant difference between any of the apps is the Maps.app. The 1.1.3 version added a new feature called "my location" which pinpoints your excact location and shows it to you on a map. Otherwise, everything is pretty much the same, it seems like most of the changes were bug fixes and other minuscule modifications.

So, if you don't want to upgrade but still want the 5 apps FOR FREE, follow the instructions above

Yea umm. Im not trying to be mean, but im pretty sure almost everyone knows this.

To the mods: change the title please, it is very misleading to all of us who are oh so excited/pissed off with the update.

seriously man, so much whining and moaning about the $20 pack, this is a perfectly easy way to get the same apps without having to worry about the update till it's jailbroken

Yes, we will hear a lot more about the $20 upgrade. All that the above does is give you apps on a jailbroken 1.1.1 or 1.1.2. Thats not what we are trying to get to. We want 1.1.3 apps for free on 1.1.3.

This is just a temporary solution to get the immediate gratification of the 5 new apps, eventually once 1.1.3 is jailbroken getting the apps free will be no problem...this is just a quick fix.

Why do you want 1.1.3 that bad anyways? all of the new features the upgrade has are already available on a JB 1.1.1/2, even the 5 apps
