hey guys, im about to sell my ipod touch and was wondering how to clean it up of all the private data before the sale - erase all the passwords that might have been saved, get rid of paid-for apps, maybe something else? is it enough to simply restore it in itunes? thanks

What are the pros and cons of selling an ipod with all the apps/games/jailbreak installed? I'm in the same boat right now thinking about selling my ipod before the release of 4G. Wouldn't it sell better with the apps and such installed? I'd erase all the passwords, etc. necessary.

Not really. I think if they want to sync their own apps, they will have to erase whatever apps are already installed on the device. What you can do is restore than downgrade to a jailbreakable firmware, so if they do want to jailbreak, they can do so easily. But you shouldn't charge more if it's jailbroken.
