    Hi everyone,

First of all, if this is in the wrong category I am very sorry, but this is my first Thread on this page, so I don't yet know where what exactly goes.

Anyway, I have installed the iHome Theme for my iPod Touch 3G 32gb (3.1.3 and Jailbroken [untethered]). This theme comes with a custom Lock Screen, that firstly removes the transparent 'background' behind the clock, secondly changes the 'slide to unlock' to 'tap to unlock' and thirdly (this third point is not only in the Lock Screen) it 'removes' (maybe it just changes color) of the lock sign in the status bar (in the middle) on the Lock Screen, and if you are on the Home Screen you can't see the clock which is in the status bar (also in the middle). When you open an app, the status bar becomes solid (gray-silver) and there is a black clock in the status bar. This clock is very bad quality though.
When I disable the theme in Winterboard, the clock, Lock Screen and everything else I mentioned changes back to normal, so it has to be changed in the theme.

Please tell me how to do this, or, if you know how to, you could create a default Lock Screen and put it on Cydia available for download.

I really hope that someone answers and can help me, and once again if this is in the wrong category: I'm very sorry!

    Well thanks for your help,
    iNinja305

you need to ssh into your iPod, or use iFunbox like i do, get into the theme and delete the offending images.

The color of the statusbar clock was most likely set in a info.plist

the statusbar lock on lockscreen is FSO_LockIcon.png

    found in theme/Bundles/com.apple.springboard

    or theme/Folders/Springboard.app

But when you say offending images, can you be more specific please, or do you also not know the names of these images.

And in the info.plist, what do I delete out of that?
I don't delete the whole plist, do i?

Oh and also, I use iFile. I am guessing it's just like your iFunbox

    *Edit*
I found out what to delete in the plist.

Anyway please tell me, if you know, how to get the background on the Lock Screen Clock back.

And please also about the slide to unlock thing if you know anything there

If you don't know, thanks a lot for your help

Usually it sais what the thing is for example like icon labes...it will say something like

    Code:
    <key>UndockedIconLabelStylee</key>
    <string>color: white</string>
if i wanted the icon labels to be normal i would delete that!!

background on lockscreen clock is UILCDbackground or something like that

    TopBarBackground ?? i cant remember

find something like that and rename it and respring to test, if thats not it, change the name back

iFile works great while on the iPod, iFunbox is for your computer

I find it WAY easier to do my themeing on the desktop

if you want to quote just use the "Quote" button on the post instead of the one in the quick reply box!

I use Cyberduck on Mac, but it always takes so long to load the folders. I find everything on iFile, but I mostly change it on Cyberduck (or Terminal) if it's something big. If it's something small like deleting something from a plist, I obviously directly do it on the iPod Touch

i think to get the slide to unlock back you have to delete the "bottombarbkgndlock, bottombarknobgray, and topbarbkgnd" i think
At least thats what was in the tap to unlock that i have
