I have a wired internet connection laptop, and it has a built-in wifi card.

so far, I've been able to connect the iTouch to my laptop by wifi, but it still can't browse the net.
is there anything to do with the Internet Connection Sharing settings on my laptop?

how can I connect the wifi on my iTouch to my laptop so that I can use the internet on my iTouch as well?

First off, do you have the wireless card enabled?

I'm not sure, but you might need to set it to Ad-hoc before you can use it.

yes, I turned on the wifi and setup ad-hoc, and they both connected no prob..
the prob is the itouch can't use the net connection even though they are already connected through ad-hoc, and both with wifi on.

right click on your internet connection in the network connections folder. Go to the sharing tab and check the box and select your wifi connection from the list.
