It looks as if Geohot, the first iPhone 2G unlocker, is saving a specific exploitable injection hole for a possible iPod touch 3G jailbreak! This may come as some good news for those who want to upgrade in the future, but want third-party applications that aren't Apple approved also!

Well good for geohot. I would like for the jailbreak to be 'release' on the iPod 3G 'release'. The dev-team won't be worried right?

The Dev-Team won't have anything to worry about other than more security, just like the iPhone 3GS. It may not be as easy as the 3GS method we have right now.
