GeoDefense: I can see this being an easily modded game.. Some help required tho :P

    So basically if you haven't played Geodefense, do it, its great

    But I have noticed somethings about it that lead me to beleive it had a text/command based level structure..
    Several variations are available in each game, starting money, wave type/quantity, upgrade cost, lives, etc.. all of this leads me to think that maybe if someone could understand the level files that it would be possible to create much easier (or harder if you want

    I have posted this in JB games as it requires a JB iPod- SSH and the like..
    I cannot seem to find this app in the applications area of my iPod tho so cannot access ANY of its files.. Not sure why

    it would be in your mobile applications directory, under a long string, seemingly random directory name. it might take a while to find, depending how many apps you have installed via itunes.

    The exact location of the oddly named folders mentioned above is /private/var/mobile/Applications.

    all i see are a bunch of audio files, a bunch of font files, all the GAME_LEVEL files that are .xml, and some pics

    one txt file called ResourceRules

    well, ResourceRules seems like a reasonable name for the amounts of starting cash, upgrade costs and lives available... did you open it up?

    can't make much sense of it, other than they all seem to be omitted? yea, looks like gibberish to my untrained eye

    Well the starting cash or health is easy to change but are you asking something else?

    That would be nice.
    Obviously modded turrents would be nice, but anything to help me feel that I have beat the system would be just fine

    well I'm not looking at it right now so i cant give great directions, but if you find the geodefense folder(it will be under some weird name) and in that folder there is one called geodefense which contains the maps where you edit things like that, oh and you can create completely custom levels.
