Alright...I want to use Genius but I'm afraid of one thing. They take information from my Library...and of course 3/4 of the songs I got them off Limewire...

So should I do it or not?

Relax.. Apple will never come to know where you got the song from...All mp3s look the same

dude, who cares what Apple thinks?
whats the worst they can do, send out a SWAT team to bust your front door and shoot Apples at you?
Relax, there are too many ppl doing the same thing that Apple can't possibly do anything about it...

I have a lil over 8000 songs in my library. Prolly average these days, maybe even a small amount, but I have bought a total 23 songs, the rest I have downloaded from Limewire and its predecessors. And I use genius, apple hasn't done anything to me.

I've used Genious MANY times and nothing has happened to me yet. I have like 2 songs from the iTunes Store, and the rest are all from *******s and Frostwire.
idk about cracked apps though . . .

    They can't do anything.

If they ever do say anything you just say you have a legal copy of the song and they can't do a thing.

There's no way to tell the difference between legal and illegal mp3s.

    Oh my god..
You can't tell the difference between legal and illegal mp3s.
And they don't look at cracked apps via genius - They do that in other ways.
