It's higher than the iPhone 4, although it only has 256MB of RAM.

Aw. Does this mean my iPod Touch 4G will crash if I have 10 tabs open in safari with 1 game running in the background? O.O

    Higher is better.

But it is lower than the iPad, so I think it is safe to assume the clock speed isn't the same.

It's actually not faster than iPhone 4...

So it's pretty much clocked the same as the iPhone 4 CPU then. But it's still 1.5x faster than the iPhone 3GS and iPod Touch 3. iPad is almost 2x faster than iPhone 3GS and iPod Touch 3...

Well, yeah. 1.5x the last generation and 3x the first generation (including the iPod Touch 2). What else can you possibly want?

I just thought about it, I think it's safe to say the iPad has a better motherboard overall. I mean, the thing is huge, surely there is enough room.
