So I finally got the gpSPhone working with a pokemon game, pokemon Ruby. It works well, but the lag and slowdowns are very annoying. Is there any other pokemon game that runs smoother? maybe a older one? would a gameboy pokemon, converted to GBA work better?

Btw can anyone recommend good GBA games? maybe some RPGs?

actually strange enough i find Pokemon Leaf Green runs great, apart from about a second lag when going into battle, but this is different for others. I have not tried any of the older ones yet on the gpS so i wouldnt know. I think that Legend of Zelda the Minship Cap is gd and also FF Tactics....

So I did try Pokemon Leaf Green and it worked a bit better. But then I tried Pokemon Emerald, which works the best for me.

For any game on the gpSPhone emulator, especially the Pokemon games, it lags when you start playing, but as you play, the lags seem to become less of an issue.

And some games just work better than others, depending on the ROM.

Yeah it seems so. I played for over one hour today and it worked good

It seem to lag a lot more when your having a battle. Hopefully the emu will get improved in later versions. Otherwise, it's a great emu.
