I thought there was going to be full screen safari! If there is I sure don't know how to use it!!
I was wondering this too. I wanted to screenshot a wallpaper so i wouldnt have to sync photos. But then there are toolbars so I can't.... Is this even possible?

yeah I thought that you could double tap the statusbar and it would go full screen
You can hold your finger down on a picture and save it
Whoa, I just tried that and wow... Awesome Discovery, I was unaware of that!! Please Register or Log in to view imagesPlease Register or Log in to view imagesPlease Register or Log in to view images
what how do you do it?
this is mixing two issues. Yes its great that you can save pictures (and look at you explorer when your touch is connected!) but how DO you get safari to go fullscreen?
Hold your finger on an image until a panel slides from the bottom asking you to save the picture.
The safari on 2.0 can go fullscreen but it will only go full screen if the owner of the website has added a fullscreen key in the webpage code which would tell safari to open in full screen.
You cannot manually enter full screen. Its mainly for webapps so they can be viewed/played in full screen.
pity that. You can go fullscreen in internet explorer. Apple has still not answered the feature request. Poor
But there is no Internet Explorer in iPod Touch....
You are obviously thinking of the full Safari on Mac OS X.
Anyways Firefox > IE > Safari.
Separate names with a comma.
