    the other threads tutorial was very confusing
    so i wrote this to clarify, credit to b777forever and the cydia package maker.

    firstly download

    SMS GV extension on Cydia

    then navigate to system/library/coreservices/springboard.app
    and edit the N81AP.plist
    and add the following lines after <key> hw-encode-snapshots<key>
    <true/>

    (you can also use iFile, if you don't have SSH

    reboot and sms will be there next, go into settings and enter ur gmail info, then you can send messages :D

    Wait, you haven't tested it? Then why would you make a tutorial on it? That's the first no-no of doing stuff like this... It has to be tested by yourself (at least) before you write it out... Otherwise, it's kinda' not-so-trustable.

    I'm not trying to be mean or anything, but you should test before you release. But I will tell you that the first few steps you have up are correct, I have this up and running already... And absolutely love it... If you have a GV account, you should really use this tweak, especially if it's free for iPod Touch users! :)

    I know it has, but if the author himself can't confirm it works, it loses that credibility (I'm doing my best to be respectful, sorry if this is offensive)... You can't go back and rewrite what you did because you didn't do any of it... But either way, I can confirm it works up to that point... Just finish it off with the receiving...
