Is there any way to prevent safari from showing the last character of my password as I type it?
go to your settings and look for safari and you should see autofill, just turn it off
It's already turned off. The problem happens as I'm typing my password, the password text box continues to show the last character I typed in the password box.
Ohh... well. That's how it's made. You cant change that...
That's there to help stop you from making a mistake while typing it in. I'm pretty good at typing on the virtual keyboard, but I'm still glad it's there.
I agree with the original complaint. it is not user friendly and exposes my password philosophy to the world (birthday, or phone number, or etc).
"thats how it is designed, you cant change that" sounds like an apple developer speak.
The customer (me) wants it hidden (or at least an option to hide while I type). Please add that to the os so we dont see it as a risk any more.
Ill see what I can do.
like on the iPhone it takes like 2 seconds to change it to a round * I suggest google chrome because it is boss.
lol whyd u need this? ppl cant exactly screenwatch your iphone and get your password
