full jailbroken ipod backup

    how do i completely backup every setting and everything on my jailbroken 2g? help

    If you use winscp then you can just backup the entire system. I imagine that would take a long time though.

    u mean i can just SSH in and copy the entire directory at / and it will work and not break anything?

    Ive been wondering this too, will it actually work, and if you do the run rs prep thing, will it break that?

    So say I copy everything at / to say my documents, do the run rs prep, then copy it all back, will the run rs still work?

    every time i try to copy the directories it just kind of fails...

    thats because the way the bsd-subsystem works, there are directories that aren't actually directories, but place holders for devices.
