Ok, my wireless network in my basement is currently disabled. I'm doing everything I can to get it back up but for now I am tied down to wired internet. This means that SSH with my ipod touch is not possible. Is there anyway to use a CuteFTP-like program to access my ipod's files through the USB connection instead of by a wifi connection? I saw a post about this in the spanish section and they didn't properly answer the question. It was an old post and I was wondering if any advances had been made in this area.

I discovered a program called Touch Explorer, which can access your iPod's system thru the USB cable. Google it first before asking me to post it or something. Its kinda like Total Commander, but in Japanese. But you can't change permissions. Or maybe you can, but I don't read Japanese.
