FTP for iPod?

    Anyone know of an FTP app that will let me upload and download files

    there is an app called Air Sharing. i think it has a price now, but when i got it, it was free. it works really well, and i used a free trial of BitKinex FTP for windows.

    Suggestion.

    Use OpenSSH and WinSCP, its just like FTP dude, and really easy to use.

    Yep, follow the WinSCP guide that is stickied in this forum.

    or use iFunBox or DiskAid that transfer via the USB cable. See my sig for links.

    If you're talking about an FTP app for the iPod touch, than there's FTP On The Go.

    If you're talking desktop applications, WinSCP and FileZilla are good ones.

    i dont meant WinSCHP.

    i mean FTP on the go for connecting for to a server from the iPod.

    On your home WiFi network and from a Windows PC I use the HFS HTTP File Server. It's free and easy to use while also having advanced functionality for expert users. Link below:

    Note that you can't connect to this file server from outside your home wifi network for several reasons. The first being that you need a static IP and I won't go into the others - if you want to go down that road you'll have to stumble alone...

    If you're on a Mac you should have an inbuilt server that you can use from within the Mac OS as far as I know...
