    Hey

I have this iPhone of which the sleep/wake button is not working. Its a 2G and I recently updated it to 3.0, and right after the update that button stopped working. So I am stuck with a locked iPhone 2G, and since that power button isn't working I can't put it into DFU mode either. Is there a way to use a software to put the iPhone into DFU mode? Like purplera1n puts iPhone 3GS into DFU, something like that?

I already tried ZiPhone and it does not work. I haven't tried iLiberty yet cuz I have never used it before.

    Please helpppp!

EDIT: And btw I need DFU mode to jailbreak/hacktivate+unlock.

Uhhhhhh... do a regular sh*t+restore? And unless the home button isnt working, you don't have a locked phone.... lol, since you can just tap home,a dn it turns it on, then just slide, enter password, and bam, not locked.

iPhone is going in the DFU mode, however redsn0w 0.8 keeps getting stuck in "waiting for reboot".
