    Hello,

I am selling my ipod 2g to buy the new 4g. (yay!)
I went to settings and hit erase ipod, and it has been doing so for the past.... 3...4? hours maybe....
I'm sorta worried.... The only reason i went with this method to erase all my content is because itunes WOULD NOT restore it, even to an official non-jailbroken firmware....

    Please help?!

Did you get any errors when trying to restore?

Since your selling it for sure, have you tried to just upgrade the ipod?

    Try a DFU restore.

I held the home and the power for over 30 seconds, nothing.

Did you try restoring on iTunes instead of doing it on your iPod?

Yes, multiple times. Every time i did it would:
    a) verify the fw for hours
    b) 16xx error
