Alright so I was so happy to finally have my second generation iPOd touch jailbroken and decided to re-format to get rid of cydia and just keep the other program. In the middle of delting everything the iPod went blank and the computer could no longer detect it. I then plugged it back in and it turned back on to the little Apple logo. Then the little spinning "thinking" logo popped up over top of the apple logo and the iPod froze :S I tried everything, resetting it and plugging it into the computer. The computer won't even detect it anymore. HELP!

Plug the ipod into your computer and do a restore, it will do a full clean restore

yea dont "delete stuff" while its plugged in like that, it will constantly synch to itunes but itunes cant detect what you are deleting, therefor fragged your pod.

    help!!!

i updated my firmware to 3.0
then i went to jailbreak it
all was fine and running smooth until it got to the rebooting stage after the hard drive pic pops up and says downloading jailbreak data
anyway after that stage it has a loading symobl underneath the downloading jailbreak data and wen that loading symbol goes away it goes to a white screen and doesnt turn on
(wen i reset it, it goes to a black screen and wont connect to computer)
    wat do i do....

Or you can just close redsn0w and rerun it.
That might save you some trouble.
