    Hi all

You have probably seen posts like this before, I have searched but I can't find anything to go by.

What I am trying to do is go from JB 1.1.3 to a JB 2.0.x (x = whatever version maybe best).

I have looked at the stickies on this forum with regards JB'ing to 2.0.x but what I am not sure of is whether I can go straight from JB 1.1.3 or not.

Do I need to restore my JB 1.1.3 iPod in iTunes before I start upgrading.

I would really appreciate it if somebody would be kind enough to give me either a low down on what to do or just a link with instructions to get me going.

    Thanks in advance

If you're trying to jailbreak 2.0.2, restore to a fresh 2.0.2 firmware first, set it up as a new iPod. After that's done, use Pwnage/Winpwn from there for jailbreak.

I'm still on jail broken 1.1.3 at the moment. The way I think I need to do this is restore my touch in itunes which will take it to 1.1.5.

I can then use Winpwn/Quickpwn to upgrade to 2.01 and then jail break it using the instructions in the stickies at the top of this forum topic.

    Is this correct?

Ok, will go that route then, thanks.

Although I do have a downloaded version of 2.0.1, so that should do it?

Hold shift and click "Restore" in iTunes, and find 2.0.x. Then follow whatever guide you choose.
