Freezing

    I have jailbroken 1.1.4 using ijailbreak and Ziphone both times my ipod freezes when trying to add a source in installer it has also frozen when i tried to type in a wep password.

    Does anybody know a solution to the freezing?

    1.Restore to a clean 1.1.4 in iTunes.
    2.Set up your Touch as a new ipod and give it a new name.
    3.Jailbreak with Ziphone and you should be cool.

    I had the same problem and came across that "fix". It seemed to work. But basically, i think you just have to keep jailbreaking till you got it. GIve the above a try, its worked for me every time.

    lol twice...
    ive tried 8 times! still get the same error
    the giving your ipod a name thing doesnt work for me =(
    this might help
    install OpenSSH
    chmod the installer app to 777
    some people recommanded this, dunno if it works because i got a bigger problem than freezing keyboard

    jesus, lol slicky and i have same 2 problems freezing and no body can solve!!!!!!! lol i will try the permissions thing though!

    there should be an option saying 'change all things in this folder to : and then you put the permissions thing so it would be 775
