freezing problems, please help

    okay, my ipod constantly freezes and turns off and when i turn it on, it goes into recovery mode and at times when i do get lucky, i get to use it for 30 minutes and it freezes again

    and now, the only way to turn it on is to recover it, and i cna't do anything else. but when i click on recover it gets stuck on the "waiting for ipod" screen

    please some help, and detailed instruction. its driving me crazy

    try restoring it through itunes, if it continues to do that after a restore it could be a hardware fault which you should take it to an apple store

    yeah, i've been trying to restore it through itunes but it doesn't fully restore because it gets stuck at the waiting screen.

    yeah i'm already thinking about the apple store. hmm are there any ohter ways to restore it other then itunes?

    you can fix that by doing a DFU mode before you restore at itunes.

    yeah do DFU or recovery mode.

    yeah i've done the DFU mode and it just gets stuck at the "waiting for ipod" bar when i try to restore it. i can't get any further then that at all.
