Does anybody know a way to get free ringtones with itunes 7.6?
clip a song, covert to aac then rename converted file type from m4a to m4r, then open the m4r clip in itunes and it'll show up as ringtones
In 7.6 it says:
"(name of song)" could not be converted because protected files cannot be converted to other formats"
oh, wait I just realized it probably says that because I bought that song, so im assuming you have to do it with like a limewire song....
i need free apps for iphone
Hey... good 4 u.... cool story...
Actually if you use iTunes you must use a song purchased from iTunes. If you use a program such as Audacity you can use Limewire songs. Or you can search through this thread and find some stuff you like.
its this true?? i did it but it just dose not show in itunes as a ringtone.. and i did it several times .. do i have to create a new folder or something like that??
nevermind i got it to work .. its just a vista problem ..lol

Search it on Google or a ******* site to get a crack for it. Works great for me.
