So....I bought music from the iTunes wifi store on my iPod with free download codes. I noticed, however, that in itunes, my number of download codes did not decrease until I synced my iPod. So, in theory, iTunes does not charge your account until your ipod is synced. Therefore, shouldnt you be able to download music on your ipod, SFTP it onto your computer and run a protected music converter to change it to a DRM-free .mp3? And as long as you dont sync your ipod, you could get as much free music as you wanted. Does this seem plausible? Just simple observations and a little inferring. Tell me what you think.
