    FREE MEMORY 1.4

    Did anyone know about this app?

    It frees up RAM which speeds up your ipod/iphone and makes the apps faster and doesnt require a restart.

    Free Memory is really a rip off, the creator just wants money. But the app does speed up the ipod touch.

    I am surprised people still believe Free Memory helps to improve their ipod's speed, sure it does free up memory only if these FOUR Applications: Safari, Mail, Music, and Video were running. If you cold boot your ipod then Free Memory is pretty much useless as there is nothing to Free. Hold down Home button when exiting any of these 4 applications does the same thing.

    @Johnny,
    There is a free process manager called "Processes" for SBSetting, free.

    I don't believe it improves my ipods speed, I know it improves my ipods speed as it makes it faster and more responsive and free memory doesn't just close safari, music, video or mail and holding the home button for all your recently used applications takes time.

    theres another way to do it without restarting your ipod and wasting battery power.
    try double clicking the home button so it brings up the music controls and then move the volume slider and hit the home button while you're moving it, and a spinning circle should appear, and it reboots without going to the apple logo. if it doesn't, try it again.

    Trying to act all superior? Well from 1993, assuming that is your birth date, then your only 14.

    If you knew anything about a jailbreak, there is a respring setting app on Cydia.

    Thanks for the volume slider trick, it really does free up your RAM quickly!
