Has anyone noticed a large majority of jailbreak apps like band, pianist, sketches, etc are all costing $5-10?

Is something that we loved free like Tap Tap going to cost $10 too?

I understand these developers wanting some money for their time creating these apps and everything but they are pricing them at professional app level, why not under the $5, especially when the usefulness and functionality of them is debated.

yes I did, but if I made a free jailbreak app I would put it on there and charge as well.

It wouldn't hurt you if you tried to make some extra dough.

the dude who developed band or w/e (the instruments) was actually showcased at the WWDC keynote, so i guess he decided to make some dough, good for him =)

Did you really expect that the Apps would stay free? Jailbreaking and Installer was just a way for people to demo their skills, build up Hype.

Sure why not, most of the apps are free. I can see a couple of standouts costing some dough but not of the same level a professionally done app like say Monkey Ball would cost.

Not really. Jailbreak was a way to get third-party apps in the first place. Jailbreak existed even before anyone knew about the app store.

i can agree with you on that ,but the fact that they are charging like equal prices as Big developers with high quality apps just isn't right, i would say 5-3$ for band not 10% ro whatever they're charging, 8$ dollars for sketches? more like 2$-99cents for me to doodle around its not like your giving me some photoshop effects and customization .
