Fast is always great, I've been looking for a converter that uses some more graphic card related resources (VRAM and actual graphics), so fast is always great.

I am usually suspicious of not-well-known converters, so be careful.

The website does not advertise any faster conversion rates than normal, so I would suggest format factory @ formatoz.com

"Format Factory is a multifunctional media converter.

It is a really good converter for anything I've thrown at it, as well as all the above. Runs fine on x64 systems. You can convert from just about anything to anything else, user controlled audio settings, video settings as well as presets. And don't worry, it maintains the aspect ration automatically.

BTW, if you are converting to iPod/iPhone, use the following settings.

    640x480 video resolution
    1024kb/s variable video rate
    h.264 video codec

    2 channel 44khz audio
    aac audio codec
