frash and ipod

    i just installed frash on my ipod touch and it my safari keeps crashing everytime i try to view the desktop version of youtube. i can view other sites with flash properly ike gamespot but full desktop version of youtube crashes. viewing it in mobile works. it also crashed on my perfect browser, not just safari.

    anyone else getting crashes with frash?

    Frash doesn't have the H.264 codec built into it so it can't play any videos unless they are in FLV.

    Why would you want the full version of YouTube anyways??

    As of now, frash can't really play videos

    because i like to view the full version of every web page. and besides if i want the mobile version of youtube, why don't i just use the youtube app that comes with ipod.

    i didn't even press play lol it just crashes when it's loading youtube homepage in desktop version lol

    Frash makes Safari crash a lot right now, its still very beta. I suggest adding a frash toggle to sbsettings to turn it off when you're not using frash.

    nah i just uninstalled it, i tried alot of sites and it still sucks right now. not alot of flash support really and eats up my memory. i guess i'll wait till it's better or adobe makes flash for ios

    Apple will never allow Adobe to have flash on ios. But skyfire just submitted their own browser for Apple's approval. That will let you view flash videos converted to html5 video. I have used it on android and it works on a lot of sites, including youtube.
