Sounds like it sucks. My friend brought his new macbook to school (it's very shmexy) and played open arena on it and i just realized how difficult it would be to play on the track pad since the entire thing is a button. I didn't get to play it but it looks like it would suck (i know that playing with a mouse is preferable but like me i don't carry a mouse around when i take my laptop with me and when i play a little half-life i use the track pad). Anyone have any personal experience?

    yes..it does suck lol
the only down side of this laptop as a whole..also the trackpad is hard to use in windows for general navigtion(apple needs to fix the drivers)
i just use a program that maps the keyboard keys to my gamepad and use that
i hate using a mouse and keyboard anyways

I tried playing Command and Conquer 3 on my trackpad earlier, and even that wasn't fun

The MacBook/Pro's trackpad is just like the trackpad of other Notebooks out there. It takes quite a lot of force to push the big middle button down. Also, there are two buttons hidden under the bottom left and bottom right sides of the trackpad. As seen here: http://www.ifans.com/forums/showthread.php?t=106559

I actually beat COD 4 with just the trackpad, I did have to change the right click though because I use vista to play it, I also play CS:Source with just the trackpad
