Ok. Last night I playing with my iPod just browsing the internet and looking through apps i have installed and never used. After about an hour of solid browsing on my iPod I closed Safari and saw that I had an application called Truephone on my Springboard, i knew that i had this in my iTunes but usualy it says it only works on iPhone. So I open it up and sign up for it. Now this is where it gets wierd. I go to the Topup tab on the app and as im going through the steps to top up i get this pop-up message.

I was able to re-create this again this morning by using the 2MB image file found on ziphone to replicate the filling of the safari memory.

So im like, wtf i dont even have an iPhone. Now here is where it gets very wierd. I open Safari again, and google search for 'crash iPhone' then I searched through the options and click on this link.

Please note that I think its just coincidence that it was this site, as i revisited the site later and nothing happened.

Then my iPod froze, and turned itself off.

So yeah, i was just thinking, this managed to turn my iPod completely off. Could this be a possible exploit?

Please dont flame or have a go at me if im wrong, or misguided. Just explain why i am wrong and your opinions on the matter.

    Thanks
