I found this app in utilites with Allipodhax and a few other sources, an app called "SpeedRefresh". I went into the app after it installed, and switched it to "On". I had to force reboot, and went into installer. In 7 seconds, every source loaded!

How does this application work. Its not like its going to make the repo servers faster just by you installing it.

Well, repo.sc is known to get people's repo download speed down to around 20 seconds or less; so it is entirely possible if they figured out a way to make things work better. But I can't seem to locate it anywhere on the trusted sources that I have on record for, so I don't know where its coming from and I can't reverse it to find out what its doing...

So whats the official word on this...

Should we install the first one or the second one? I'm all for making the refreshing faster.

Any other feedback on which one ot od it with and if they are trusted?

the reason my sources refresh took 15 minutes was because of the ipodtouchfans repo.. i removed it and now i can refresh in about 20 seconds.
