How about a forum spy? No not one of those ninja's who are very secretive.

Instead one of those pages that give real time posts.

Here is an example from MacRumors: http://spy.macrumors.com/

I think that would be a really cool for this site, but if it is too much work, don't worry about it. The New Posts are fine.

My question is: How hard would that be to implement into this site?

I know, I would use that all the time.

But if it's too much work, then that's okay.

Pretty cool, it's like the "New Posts" link with auto refresh.

Yea, it's a real time updater. Sorta like the ESPN Game Center. It updates as it comes in.

Anyone else think this would be cool?

vBulliten uses a database (mySQL for example) to store the posts, so a simple PHP page with a SQL query to pull posts from the forum DB should work. Ajax could allow real time updates without reloading.
