Ok, so this says jailbreaking isn't illegal which is rubbish. So are you people gonna fix this seeing the whole site is posting and talking about illegal material. And whats up with posting iPhone and iPod Touch firmware from apples site? Thats legal isn't it? Well I mod other forums and well I'd edit the rules.

This site would die without discussion on Jailbreaking.
It shys away from certain benifits of jailbreaking but the actual act of jailbreaking is no illegal yet.

Distibuting firmware is illegal. I haven't seen anyone doing it for 3.0..

. End of discussion. If you're so opposed to jailbreaking, why does it say you have a jailbroken 3G. Again I can't stress this enough... IDIOT.

Since when is jailbreaking illegal? Distributing firmware which is supposed to be paid for is piracy, even if there are direct links to it.

May be against their T&C's, but that doesn't make it illegal.

    Edit: Reported this thread

Jailbreaking is NOT illegal. Stop flaming kiddies.

If you bothered to check, Apple is trying to have it made illegal but it is unlikely that they will succeed.

Again, the act of Jailbreaking is NOT illegal, though it does kill any warranty you have for your device.

End of topic. End of discussion as there is actually no discussion here, just certain people are ill informed.
