Forum moderator suggestion/discussion

I agree. And I'd like to feel like I was part of the community. I think there's only a few people left who have stayed here for as long as I have - And there's the other few who have been here 2 or 3 months longer. I'd like to feel by now that I've made my mark here and I'm seen as a representation of a good iPTF member... I've tried hard with my own outside projects like HTiT, YouTube channels... Podcasts... And a few other things.. but that above ^^^ is just my 2c.

Not for the reasons that:

OMFG I WANNA B MOD CZ I GET POWRRZ!

But because at the time - there weren't any UK mods and I wanted the place. But now we've got Meikura and probably don't need anymore.

I'll use the report button more... I'm too... _afraid_ to make threads on what I'd change - And I've seen a thread by Skylar saying not to PM mods... So I'm not sure how to get points across anyway.

First of all, congrats Meik for being a Super Moderator.
Now, I say it's a good idea, giving all the mods a month break.

I'm not sure about a break actually.
I just think we need one or two more mods.

Bad idea.

Let's think about it:


If we dismiss Dan, Skylar, Joseph, The other Joseph, Spoony and the rest of the active ones, we'd have to replace them with a team of 6 or 7 new mods.

• None of whom know anything about moderating.
• Some may not be trustworthy? And abuse the position.
• The current mods might not want to have a month off.

I'd like to say that we are "openly open" to suggestions, so if you really think something about myself or any of the other moderators needs fixing, shoot us a PM, and we'll get back to you about it and try to change that behavior if it's not too unreasonable.

Also, Alex, your what you would do list. Tell us, send me a PM, send Dan a PM, you get the idea.

But what about the mods who are NEVER on.
(complexis , veryniceipod , joseph , there may be more)
Perhaps they should be dismissed (sorry guys) and replaced with more active members.

Actualy I noticed veryniceipod on the other night. Like really late UK time though.

I forgot about something, Just demote the non-active ones.
